What an amazing Christmas present! Details is proud to announce that we will work on the joint research project "ART-e-FACT - Medienbruchfreies Artefaktmanagement", funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research - BMBF.

Details will develop methods for computer systems and software to seamlessly exchange data about various media artefacts (bios, audio, videos, releases, etc.) and this knowledge will be applied to Details software wherever possible!

The project is co-ordinated by Berlin based company Piranha WOMEX in cooperation with the Leipzig Institute for Applied Informatics (InfAI) and Ageto. Supporting partners are the German collection societies GEMA, GVL, and the German Independent Music Association VUT.

Details goes social! No, not a Facebook or Twitter page, but our new booking request form. Now when promoters want to work together with your agency they can make a "friends" request which allows the promoter to make highly detailed booking requests and have all the information entered directly into Details. No copy or paste at all!! This also allows promoters to keep their information you have on file up-to-date.

We've been three months without a news update, and it's not even the summer tour season yet, so what's the excuse? The good news is we've finally launched our wizard. What's a wizard? It's magic! For example if you type in the name of a venue in Rome our wizard can find this venue even in Roma! The wizard simplifies the process of creating dates even more than it was before, and if you've seen our video you know that it was super simple to start with!

Linguistics, linguistics, linguistics! Not only is Details in English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish (Portuguese on the way and we'd love to go Dutch) but Details also responds in the language of your contacts. So if you are a German booking agency and you send a promoter questionnaire to an Italian promoter, then the questionnaire will be in Italian.

Two announcements today. The first is that we are happy to announce our new data importing service for unorganized data. If you would like to use a booking system but the thought of having to enter in all the data from Word, Excel, and address books is too much to think about, then ask us about our prices to put our new interns to work organizing your data.

The second is that our playlist feature is ready. This feature allows you to edit your artists' playlists from their existing repertoire and print or export them for further use such as mechanical declarations. If you're unsure what this means then you're probably missing out on thousands of free €/$ every year from ogranizations like GEMA. Ask us for more info about mechanical declarations!

details is a cloud-based service and the only software requirement to use it is Firefox, no FileMaker or anything else.

At this time details is launching the booking service, but you can see here that the label service is almost ready to present later in the year.

SIgn up in 2011 and pay only 39€ per month per user

Optional setup cost of 495 EUR includes 10 hours of support which can be used for importing of contacts and other data from previous booking software, importing of invoice and contracts templates, or user training.

Note, this is an optional cost. This option includes no support, you will need to import your own contacts and you will need an HTML designer who can program your templates in our template editor to save the setup fee. We strongly recommend against this option, but it is available.

We also have a number of interns who can enter initial data into your system, for extremely low rates, show us your data and let us give you a quote.
